We had a super time during French Week in Little Acorns.
Read on to see what we got up to....
Each day we said ‘Bonjour’ to our friends and sang our ‘Salut, Ca va?’ song. We even counted how many of us were here in French. (Mrs Wilcox thinks we are tres fantastique!!)
We tasted French food every day – croissants and French jam, pain au chocolat, crepes, baguettes and cheese (Brie and Port Salut) and Brioche.

Everyone tried and we thought it was all delicious. We even had a French menu for school dinner on Friday, so Merci to Pauline, Joanne and Melanie in our school kitchen.
We had great fun painting Le Tricolor flags which were displayed in the school halls.
Don’t you think our Eiffel Tower was magnifique!![]()
We sang and danced to French songs and had a visit from Madam Barrett who taught us some new songs.
She also told us the story of ‘Les trios petit couchons’ (The three little pigs) which was super.
We played Boules with Mr Innerdale![]()
We had a French Fashion Show on Friday – don’t we look tres chic?![]()
Even Basil visited wearing his beret. ![]()
