Last week Year 2/1 all went to Saltwell Park. We had an amazing time. If you don't believe me read what one of our amazing Year 2 children thought of our visit.
On Wednesday we went to Saltwell Park on a coach. On the way there Lauren (my partner) played knock knock jokes here's one "knock, knock" "who's there?" "cows go" "cows go who?" "cows go moo not who!" "ha ha ha!" Finally after a long time we got there. Then when we got off we had to line up so that we could be counted. After we had been counted, as a class we went towards the lake and saw Mrs Hunter's class feeding some ducks. Next we went to the play area. We were all moaning becuase we could not go in the big play area. But eventually everyone calmed down and went in the small play area nad had lotsa of fun. Then we picked up our packed lunches and went to Pet's Cornerand saw 7 baby bunnies! They were so cute. Suddenly Ellis spotted that the peacock had opened his feathers... THEY WERE LOVELY! Soon after that we went to the Rose Garden to look for squirrels. Just then we saw one. Dean went very close and then bongggg the squirrel jumped at Dean and he jumped ten feet into the air. That did make me giggle. "Time to go to lunch" we all cheered. I ate cakes, crisps and 2 drinks. Then we rolled around on the grass. After that we went to the maze. Mostly everyone was following me because I knew the way out!!! Then we saw Miss Fothergill's class playing on a wiggle, swiggle tree!
