Spring Term Reward

For our excellent behaviour this term we had a special treat. A man called Isiziba from Zimbabwe came in to teach us Gum Boot dancing. It was a dance the African miners did to communicate with each other, as they were not allowed to talk when they were working. We had great fun, clapping and stomping our wellington boots.

Isizaba played some very unusual instruments.

Our favourite instrument was the djembe drums. We were very good at playing them.
