As part of French Week (31.3.08 - 4.4.08), children from Years 5 and 6 had the chance to win the coveted maillot jaune in West Lane's own version of the Tour de France. The Tour included an individual time trial, a mountain stage (!) and a team time trial.
This year's champion is Sophie Montgomery, who fought off the challenge from Caitlin Ridley and Megan Dixon in the final team trial. Well done to all our trophy winners. There were 35 riders in this year's event and it seems likely that the Tour de West Lane will become a regular fixture in the school calendar.

The Tour de France was a great activitiy for everyone in Year 5/6 to enjoy.
