Year 4 get creative

Last week, Miss Fothergill and Year 4 had a fun filled day out at Bill Quay Farm. We took part in this year's sculpture day, which was held at Saltwell Park. The theme this year was ‘Torrents and Towers’. We came prepared with lots of interesting and adventurous ideas. We were split into groups and we all worked alongside an artist to design and create a sculpture made from wood. We had a fantastic day and made some wonderful sculptures from ‘The Creepy Castle’ to ‘The Tower of Doom.’

We had great fun using the saws to cut the wood the right size. It was hard work but we enjoyed it so much that nobody wanted to stop for lunch!

Why not come into school and look at our fantastic sculptures yourself? (They can be found on the grass outside the Year3/4 buildings)

Nice building!!!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE THE BRIDE

I am looking forward to the Year 4 and Year 3's play about the Twelve days of Christmas.

I love all the Year 4's great models

These are some great models. I look strange on the Bede's World picture.

When I was in Year 4 I loved that trip to build and create. I also liked the one where I had to make the Castle Gate in a team.

It was lots of fun

It was fun and cool
