West Lane continued their Basketball dominence over other teams in our school cluster when they won the Hookergate cluster basketball tournament for the third year in a row.The school's first team went undefeated throughout the tournament held at Hookergate Sports Hall last Friday beating 3 other teams from High Spen and Rowlands Gill, scoring 18 points and conceding only 6. The second team also won and came through their league undefeated only losing to the first team in the final! The children represented the school excellently as usual, and we're all looking forward to the finals night at Gateshead Stadium next Tuesday afternoon [25th November].
