Over the past few weeks, Year 5 / 6AT have been working hard to collect pots, tubs and yoghurt pots and eventually all their recycling efforts have come to fruition.
This week they began the process of creating percussion instruments using the papier mache and today they were finally able to decorate them.
I’m sure you will agree that they have certain made some eye catching percussion instruments.

Making the percussion instruments was good fun and we really enjoyed it.
We made percussion instruments using recycled bottles and yoghurt pots.
We put beads in the bottles / yoghurt pots to make the rattle then adding papier mache to make it easier to paint African style designs.
