Y5/6 visit their e.pals in Baho, near Perpignan in the South of France.
Setting off from Newcastle Airport, to Girona in Northern Spain, very very early on Sunday 23rd May.(Au départ de l'aéroport de Newcastle, à Gérone, dans le nord de l'Espagne)
On Sunday night we went into Perpignan. We saw some beautiful buildings, (Le dimanche soir nous sommes allés à Perpignan. Il y avait quelques beaux bâtiments)
then went to a 'Crêperie' for galettes and crêpes, (puis nous sommes allés à une crêperie de galettes et de crêpes)
Monday was a holiday in France so we went to Canet Plage. (Le lundi était un jour férié en France, alors nous sommes allés à Canet Plage) The weather was sunny and hot! (Le temps était ensoleillé et chaud!)
On Monday night we were very excited to meet our friends. We went bowling and then for a Catalan meal with our friends and their parents. We sang 'Lady Melody' for them and they sang 'Tonight's Going to Be a Good Night' It was a lovely atmosphere. (Lundi soir, nous étions très excités de rencontrer nos amis. Nous sommes allés de bowling, puis pour un repas catalan avec nos amis et leurs parents. Nous avons chanté 'Lady Melody' pour eux et ils sable 'Tonight's Going to be a Good Night' C'était une belle atmosphère.)
On Tuesday we went to school in Baho. (Le mardi nous sommes allés à l'école primaire de Baho) 
We had a tour of the school and joined in activities during the morning, (Nous avons eu une visite de l'école et se sont joints aux activies cours de la matin)
We had an afternoon of sporting activities. (Nous avons eu un après-midi d'activités sportives)
We went to our friend's house. In the evening there was a disco and bbq. (Nous sommes allés à la maison avec nos amis . Dans la soirée, il y avait une boum et un barbecue). 
The mayor presented Mrs Exley with a medal of Baho. (Le maire a présenté Mme Exley avec une médaille de Baho.)
On Wednesday we went to Villefranche de Conflent. It was beautiful. (Le mercredi nous sommes allés à Villefranche de Conflent. C'était très beau). 
The little yellow train departed from there to go up into the mountains to Mont Louis.(Le petit train jaune partit de là pour aller dans les montagnes a Mont Louis).
On Thursday we went to Colioure a very beautiful and famous town for artists. (Le jeudi nous sommes allés à Colioure une ville très belle et célèbre pour les artistes.)
We got a shark boat to Argeles sur Mer.
We had a party on the beach. (Nous avons une partie sur la plage)
Then it was time to say 'à bientôt' and thank you for such a wonderful visit to our friends in Baho. (Alors qu'il était temps de dire «À bientôt et merci pour cette visite merveilleuse à nos amis de Baho.)

At France it was mint. It was dead funny when it was quiet at our French pen pals school and my French pen pal shouted we love rock and roll.
The hotel was nice, the teachers were nice and I had a good time with my pen pal and her family.

This was the most fun thing. France was fab as I got to go on holiday with Courtney and Amber. Thanks Mr Gormley, Mrs Wilcox and Mrs Exley also Mrs Henry. Thank you very much, we all had a fab time with you :)
