Year 3/4LY all pass their bronze award
Mrs Young's class have been working really hard with Mr Treherne to master the skills of the violin. We have learnt all the parts of the violin and are able to play simple tunes to the rest of the class.

Winlaton West Lane welcome the Lions of Zulu Land

The Lions of Zulu Land visited our school and we just loved watching their very energetic dances and listening to their wonderful songs during the one hour performance at the beginning of the day.

After the dancing, the 'Lions' came into all of our classrooms and taught us some of their dance moves,

and about their language and culture.

At the end of the day, the whole school came back together again and we got the chance to demonstrate some of our new found skills.

Gamelan Music Workshop

The Sound of Music
